Ending childhood cancer and blood disorders is possible, TOGETHER. That’s why we’ve formed a team and are participating together -- from wherever we are -- in the 11th Annual Hope & Heroes Walk on Sunday, September 26, 2021, and that’s why we need your help.
Christopher has been undergoing chemotherapy treatment at Columbia University Medical Center for over a year now. Since his diagnosis of Langerhans Cell Histiocytosis, Christopher has been under the excellent care of Dr. Justine Kahn and her team. In that time Christopher and Dr. Kahn have become the best of friends! To honor that bond and help other children with their fight Christopher has formed his “Kahntourage” and would love for you to help him raise money for Hope & Heroes!
Hope & Heroes funds the life-saving work on childhood cancer and blood disorders at Columbia University Irving Medical Center – including cutting-edge research, the newest and most advanced treatments, support for families, and care that always puts children first. Columbia is home to the largest and most comprehensive pediatric oncology & blood disorder programs in the country, treating over 1,500 patients a year with high-quality, compassionate care.
Funding from Hope & Heroes also ensures that every child, regardless of their ability to pay, gets the very best care.
That is why we’ve formed a Walk Team this year, and why we’re asking you for your support.
