Welcome to the Windorfs' page
Ending childhood cancer and blood disorders is possible, together. That’s why my wife Ellen and I are participating in the 11th Annual Hope & Heroes Walk on Sunday, September 26, 2021. Thank you for supporting our walk.
Since we first started attending the annual FCS Race for Kids charity ski weekend in Stowe, Vermont in 2009, we've met children and their families who have benefited from the loving care of the team at Hope & Heroes. We've had the privilege of hearing their personal, heartbreaking and heartwarming stories. And we've heard from their amazing, dedicated doctors as well. This is an important cause -- with lasting impact and achievable goals!
Hope & Heroes funds the life-saving work on childhood cancer and blood disorders at Columbia University Irving Medical Center – including cutting-edge research, the newest and most advanced treatments, support for families, and care that always puts children first. Columbia is home to the largest and most comprehensive pediatric oncology & blood disorder programs in the country, treating over 1,500 patients a year with high-quality, compassionate care.
This is why we're participating this year, and why we're asking you for your support.
DONATE TODAY using the link and make a difference. If you’re as passionate as we are about ending childhood cancer, you can also join our team!
Thank you again. Together we will help children today and save lives tomorrow. Together, we can end childhood cancer and blood disorders.
