TEAM STRONG HEARTS NEEDS YOUR HELP

Ending childhood cancer and blood disorders is possible, together. That’s why I’m participating in the 11th Annual Hope & Heroes Walk on Sunday, September 26, 2021, and that’s why I need your help.
As most of you know, my son Rocco now 15 years old, was diagnosed with stage 4 neuroblastoma when he was 6 months old. He has now been in remission 13 years. THIS A CAUSE DEAR TO MY HEART. He was treated at the Columbia University Herbert Irving Medical Center by a team of amazing and caring doctors, nurses and staff. It is thanks to them, the ongoing research, quality of care and ALL YOUR PRAYERS and support that he beat this terrible disease. It was a very difficult time in our lives. We are beyond grateful and blessed to have our fun-loving Rocco in our lives. We walk to help others who are still fighting pediatric cancer, so that they can get access to the quality care they need regardless of their ability to pay.
Hope & Heroes funds the life-saving work on childhood cancer and blood disorders at Columbia University Irving Medical Center – including cutting-edge research, the newest and most advanced treatments, support for families, and care that always puts children first. Columbia is home to the largest and most comprehensive pediatric oncology & blood disorder programs in the country, treating over 1,500 patients a year with high-quality, compassionate care.
This is why I’m participating this year, and why I’m asking you for your support.
