Welcome to My Personal Page
In December of 2017, my younger sister was diagnosed with osteosarcoma. Osteosarcoma is a type of bone cancer that tends to occur in children and young adults. It’s actually extremely rare with only 20,000 cases of it the United States every year. Luckily she started going to Columbia University Irving Medical Center and started treatment for osteosarcoma. Luckily today she is cancer free! (yay!)
My family owes everything to the wonderful people at Columbia University Irving Medical Center and Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital of New York. They guided us through my sister’s treatment with hope and love. I truly don’t know what we would have done without them.
So this is my way to give back to these incredible people. And if you still don’t believe me, hear this: only 4% of cancer funding goes to pediatric cancer even though only 1 in 4 do not survive. Pediatric cancer is the number one cause of death by disease with children.
So please either:
- Join me and my family on May 19th, 2019 to support kids with cancer and blood disorders and their families
- Make a donation to this fund
- Or join our team and recruit other people to donate and walk
