Help us thank our team and honor girls like GO and AT
I told Gillian's team at Columbia that while I admire, appreciate and even adore them, I wish I had never met them. I could admit this to them because I know they wished they never met Gillian, too.
But, bad things happen.
Our family is indebted to everyone on the 7th floor of Columbia University Medical Center's Herbert Irving Pavilion (HIP 7) and the 5th Floor of the Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital of New York (5Tower).
I am in awe of the joyful resilience of Gillian, our family friend Ally who is also battling Osteosarcoma but in Hawaii, and so many other children I met at HIP7 and 5Tower.
Therefore, I hope you will walk with me on Sunday May 19, 2018. Not only to celebrate the wonderful people we have met, but also because the odds are still against us:
- Cancer is the #1 cause of death by disease among children,
- YET pediatric cancer research receives only 4% of all cancer-related funding.
You can help us today by...
- Making a donation
- Walking with us
- Joining our team and asking others to walk and/or donate too.
