Welcome M.S. 447
The M.S. 447 student council, staff and students are thrilled to be a part of the 10th Annual Hope & Heroes Walk on Sunday, May 19th, 2019 to support children with cancer and blood disorders and their families.
We have joined Team Sienna to help raise funds and bring awarness to childhood cancer. Team Sienna is close to the heart of a staff member and the sister of one of our eigth graders. As a community, we are happy to be supporting such a great cause.
With your help, Hope & Heroes can continue supporting the patients, programs, and research at the Division of Pediatric Hematology, Oncology & Stem Cell Transplantation at Columbia University Medical Center. The Division, located at NewYork-Presbyterian Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital, is one of the largest and most distinguished centers for children with cancer and blood disorders in the country. They are depending on us to make sure their unique programs are available to all the children they treat and that their scientists keep working until they find a cure.
Please give as generously as you can - or consider joining our team and walking with us. The Walk takes place at the beautiful Pier 62/63 on the West Side of NYC and is an inspiring and fun day for the whole family.
Over the last 10 years, the Hope & Heroes Walk has raised over $2.5 Million dollars to dramatically affect the lives of pediatric cancer & blood disorder patients and has shared the importance of this cause with thousands of people. With your help, we can ensure that every patient receives excellent care and that they, along with their family, feel supported from the day of diagnosis, throughout treatment, and beyond.
Donate today and help make a difference. Consider joining my team and walking with us! The Walk is an inspiring & fun day with incredible energy that brings together patients, survivors, families, friends, doctors, nurses, co-workers, and neighbors - it’s truly not to be missed.
Thank you again. Together we will help children today and save lives tomorrow.
