I want to do all I can to help find a cure for cancer.  Cancer is a disease we all need to fight together. It's not a disease that discriminates.  I am a person who loves helping others & this is a worthy cause.  My cousin Avis Rampersad was a very special person.  She was kind, gentle and very giving.  She gave to everyone and that was what her calling in life was.  She loved to help people and never found it too much to give to someone .

  When Avis developed Bone Cancer in 1990, it was a shock.  She had fallen and she was complaining about pain.  When she got the diagnosis I could see how the wheels in her head was turning.  What will happen to my 4 beautiful children?  She knew she had raised 4 strong powerhouses.  She knew she did not want to be a burden to them. But they all did their best to ease her pain.  The cancer moved through her body so quickly and the pain was so unbearable.  

  On September 19th 1992 the world lost a beautiful soul Avis Rampersad lost her battle to bone cancer.  I would love to receive donations on behalf of this special woman whom I will never forget.
