Please join Team Niko in raising awareness and funds during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. We will be hosting our 6th Annual Lemonade Stand & Toy Drive on Sunday, September 22nd from Noon to 3:00 PM at 160 Holmes Avenue, Darien, CT. Thanks to our supporters, we raised over $62,000 since September 2014. By donating, you are giving every child with cancer the hope for a cure. Please help us in making this September as successful as the last!
Niko was diagnosed with stage III, high-risk Neuroblastoma on June 10, 2014 at the age of 3. After 14 months of intense treatments and surgery, he was declared cancer free in August 2015. We are grateful to the doctors and staff at NewYork-Presbyterian Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital for the great care and support they have provided Niko and his family.
All donations made in honor of Niko will go towards Neuroblastoma research at the Division of Pediatric Hematology, Oncology & Stem Cell Transplantation at Columbia University Medical Center. The Division, located at NewYork-Presbyterian Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital, is one of the largest and most distinguished centers for children with cancer and blood disorders in the country. Our goal is to help fund research which will lead to less intense treatment of Neuroblastoma, and one day, a cure. The new toys will be donated to the Oncology Clinic at Columbia University Medical Center, where pediatric patients spend long days while getting treatment.
Thank you for joining us in the fight against childhood cancer!
