  • Team Spirit: Craft a team cheer, carry awesome team signs and do whatever you can to get creative in showing your team spirit and you could win!
  • Rookie Award: Awarded to a new team that best embodies all the Hope & Heroes Walk is!
  • The Walk Cup: Given to the top fundraiser from the staff of the Division of Pediatric Hematology, Oncology & Stem Cell Transplant!


Keep an eye out for Team Week and remember that each Hope & Heroes Walk Team that raises $15,000+ will receive access to the Top Team Area at the Walk as well as up to 25 tickets to either a Yankee game, a Mets game, a Red Bulls game or the Radio City Music Hall Christmas Spectacular.

    A Hope & Heroes Walk Team consists of FIVE OR MORE people who join the together to raise vital dollars to support Hope & Heroes. By registering as a Hope & Heroes Walk Team Captain, you are helping to support our mission of supporting families and children battling cancer!

    It’s easy to form a team…simply follow these easy steps to get your team started today!

    • Register As A Team Captain: As a Team Captain, you can share this special experience with your friends, family members or co-workers. As a leader, it’s up to you to inspire your teammates about our mission and help them fundraise to reach your team’s goal. Click here to get started.

    All Hope & Heroes Walk Team Captains will be sent an exclusive Hope & Heroes Walk Hat.  Show off your hat by wearing it or hanging it in the workplace and spread the word about the Hope & Heroes Walk!

    • Select A Team Name: Your team name lets everyone at your walk know who you are and why you are walking. Team names can be your family last name, the name of your company, in honor of who you are walking for or as creative as you want to be.
    • Set A Goal: Fundraising comes more naturally when it’s a group effort. Not only can every team member fundraise, but your team can also organize pre-Walk fundraisers such as a bake sale in order to maximize your team’s fundraising efforts.
