  • Best Team Attire: Team T-shirts, hats, feather boas, wacky wigs and more put you in the running!
  • Team Spirit: Craft a team cheer, carry awesome team signs and do whatever you can to get creative in showing your team spirit and you could win!
  • Rookie Award: Awarded to a new team that best embodies all the Hope & Heroes Walk is!
  • The Walk Cup: Given to the top fundraiser from the staff of the Division of Pediatric Hematology, Oncology & Stem Cell Transplant!

Team Fundraising Week was AMAZING! We had more than 300 new donors join us in supporting the mission, we watched the overall fundraising soar well over a quarter million and counting, and celebrated as teams pulled out all the stops to ensure we have the resources we need to fight kids cancer. Here are the official Team Fundraising Week winners!

 

  • Most New Donors – Team Avery Hoffman with 25 new donors during team week
  • Highest % Growth – Team Adriana with 470% growth, from $2,335 to $13,316
  • Highest % Team Members with $100+ - Team Ben with 100%; all 6 members at $100+

    A Hope & Heroes Walk Team consists of FIVE OR MORE people who join the together to raise vital dollars to support Hope & Heroes. By registering as a Hope & Heroes Walk Team Captain, you are helping to support our mission of supporting families and children battling cancer!

    It’s easy to form a team…simply follow these easy steps to get your team started today!

    • Register As A Team Captain: As a Team Captain, you can share this special experience with your friends, family members or co-workers. As a leader, it’s up to you to inspire your teammates about our mission and help them fundraise to reach your team’s goal. Click here to get started.

    All Hope & Heroes Walk Team Captains will be sent an exclusive Hope & Heroes Walk Hat.  Show off your hat by wearing it or hanging it in the workplace and spread the word about the Hope & Heroes Walk!

    • Select A Team Name: Your team name lets everyone at your walk know who you are and why you are walking. Team names can be your family last name, the name of your company, in honor of who you are walking for or as creative as you want to be.
    • Set A Goal: Fundraising comes more naturally when it’s a group effort. Not only can every team member fundraise, but your team can also organize pre-Walk fundraisers such as a bake sale in order to maximize your team’s fundraising efforts.
